Brand New Eclipse Scene with Intro from Pattinson

Just a few days after the release of a much buzzed-about new clip at the 2010 MTV Movie Awards where The Twilight Saga: New Moon reigned supreme, where it won the Best Movie, now another movie clip has been released by Summit Entertainment. The newest clip is totally different that the one that had just been previewed at the awards show.

In the interview with Entertainment Tonight as an introduction to the clip, Robert Pattinson talked about his character, Edward Cullen, and his relationship with Bella and her growing friendship with Jacob Black. He said, “Bella had been getting closer to Jacob throughout New Moon, and now they have a very strong bond, and Edward still feels relatively resentful with that throughout Eclipse.” He also added, “Eventually he’s called upon to have to accept his help and the rest of the wolf pack’s help to defeat Victoria’s army of newborn [vampires].”

Do you remember the time when the Cullens had no idea who was or were behind the series of killings in Seattle? Me neither. I seemed to forget that at some it point, it happened. They have no idea that it was Victoria who was doing those rapid murders to help her create her own vampire army. She wants to avenge the death of her mate, James. He was killed by the Cullens at the first Twilight movie. Victoria is blaming Edward and is taking out her revenge on Bella, a mate for a mate. Edward first said that the intruder’s scent is new. It was Riley’s. Alice told them that it couldn’t be Victoria because she would have seen it while Victoria was deciding to attack them. Then, Edward said that it would have to be the Volturi but Alice was also convinced that it couldn’t be them. But because they don’t know who is out to do harm against Bella, she will be once again kept under protection. Rosalie is not happy again with this. Bella also does not like the set-up. She wouldn’t remain unprotected because she had… oh, snap. She was about to say Jacob. You should have seen the look on Edward’s face.
